Famille vénitienne ancienne et très noble, appelée Bon ou Dal Bon, sur l'origine de laquelle il existe diverses reconstructions hypothétiques. L'un d'eux raconte que les Dal Bon sont venus de Bologne et ont déménagé à Torcello au 7ème siècle. Il n'est pas improbable que les nombreuses branches, distinguées par des surnoms, dérivent en fait de noyaux différents ; par exemple, en 1381, Alvise dalle Fornase fut fait noble, qui prit à cette occasion les armoiries et le nom de famille des Bons. En tout cas, la famille a planté son domicile de façon permanente à Venise, sous le Doge Orso Badoer et au lock-out du Grand Conseil de 1297, elle a été incluse parmi les patriciens. Il donna à la patrie des sujets illustres en armes et dignités : Francesco, premier podestat vénitien de Mestre ; Antonio († 1508), homme politique et militaire, mentionné par Guicciardini ; Pietro († 1571),
