Antigua y muy noble familia piamontesa, originaria de Bibiana pero también con sede en Pinerolo y Saluzzo, que se extendió a lo largo de los siglos en varias regiones de Italia. La clara nobleza de la familia se confirma por su presencia en la valiosa obra "El blasón subalpino" de Antonio Manno. La familia, en 1826, fue condecorada con el título del comital. Por otro lado, esta casa, en el desarrollo de su brillo, siempre ha logrado producir una serie de hombres que se han hecho famosos, en el empleo público, en profesiones liberales y eclesiásticas y en el servicio militar. Entre estos, sin aumentar el valor de lo omitido, están: Giacomo, terrateniente en el área de Turín, floreciente en 1516; Francesco, notario, floreciente en Bibiana, en 1532; Celestino Maria, doctor en "utroque jure", floreciente en Pinerolo, en 1611; Antonio, un notario en Saluzzo, floreciente a principios del siglo XVII;
