Die alte süditalienische Familie normannischen Ursprungs genoss in Sizilien in den Städten Messina, Marsala und Monte San Giuliano den Adel. Ein Raineri war 1381 strategischer Richter in Messina; ein Giuseppe war im Jahre 1634 in Monte San Giuliano prokonservativ; Ein Vincenzo wurde 1694-95 in Marsala vereidigt und 1705-66 Justizkapitän. ein Andrea war Baron der Fragiovanni-Saline in Marsala; Ein Clemens vom Monte San Giuliano wurde 1701-2 in dieser Stadt vereidigt. 1723 erhielt er die Konzession für das Lehen von Radilbesi. Damals war er ein Kapuzinermönch mit dem Namen Onorato und übermittelte das Lehen an seinen Sohn Antonio, der in Monte San prokonservativ war Giuliano, im Jahre 1734; Ein Vincenzo, Baron des Salzes von Fragiovanni, gehörte durch Investitur vom 13.
