Antica famiglia di Imola. Il dottore Michele Ignazio De Porzi il 20 dicembre 1663 venne aggregato al Nobile Consiglio di Imola ed a lui successe nel Consiglio il figlio Antonio il 28 aprile 1685, a questi il figlio Gian Battista il 30 ottobre 1738, ed a quest'ultimo il di lui figlio Antonio il 27 giugno 1782. La famiglia è iscritta genericamente nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano del 1922 col titolo di Patrizio di Imola (maschi) in persona dei Discendenti da Giambattista, di Antonio e da Antonio, di Giambattista (1782). Altro ramo. Famiglia nobile forlivese, alla quale appartenne il famoso giurista Antonio De Porzi il quale fu in Roma per ben 60 anni avvocato collaterale in Campidoglio e morì nel 1631.
