Most illustrious family, originally from the city of L'Aquila, noble outside the Piazza, in Naples, ascribed to Monte Manso in 1748, decorated on 18 January 1700 with the title of marquis, in the person of Carlo Antonio, president of the Sacred Royal Council; this title was then placed on the feud of Villarosa (feudal territory in Principality Citra) as from the last heading of the said feud to Tommaso, on May 4, 1768, in the coupon of that Province. It was received, for justice, in the SMO of Malta, in 1766, as a quarter of the Palmieri family of Naples (Grande Archivio di Stato Napoli, Priory of Barletta, volume 29), and entered in the Register of the Knights of Malta of justice. The family is registered in the Official Italian Noble List of 1922, with the title of Marquis of Villarosa (mpr.), In the person of the descendants of Tommaso,
