La Famiglia Della Lena, vuole il Bresciani che derivi da Perugia, ma un Bonaventura vivente circa il 1287 lasciò scritto a' suoi figlj che il loro stipite era oriundo dagli antichj Manlj Romani. Fra i primi che si conoscono in Cremona evvi un Teodosio nel 1037, e dopo questo Ladislao circa il 1050 celebre Legista, e molto stimato dai Pontefici S.Lelone IX e Nicolò II, non che dall'Imp. Enrico IV. Ascritti al civiico Decurionato vi furono nel 1134 Gaspare, Guiscardino nel 1165, Teodoro nel 1503, Pietro nel 1525, Galeazzo nel 1631, ed Alfonso nel 1638. Ferdinando insigne Teologo nel 1243 fu Vicario Generale dell'Arcivescovo di Ravenna, e Canonico di S.Pietro in Roma, come fu Girolamo nel 1588. Canonico della Cattedrale del nostro Vescovo Nicolò Sfondrati. Cataldo nel 1540 fu un valente Fisico, Professore di lingue Greca, Caldea, ed Ebraica e Scrittore di varie opere in medicina.
