Ancient and noble Tuscan family, originally from the city of Florence (Santo Spirito, Ferza), of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. Known as Dini di Battista or di Battista, this House had ten times the priory, from 1468 to 1525. Battista, of another Battista, was prior in the year 1515 when Pope Leo X solemnly entered Florence and he was created Count Palatine. Moreover the family in all ages always stood out, thanks to the prominent figures, which gave birth, in the public service, in the liberal professions and in the military service. From our archive: Tommaso, lawyer in Florence, flourishing in 1546; Giacomo, landowner in Tuscany, flourishing in 1568; Gio. Batta, knight, flourishing in Florence in 1616; Celestino, lawyer, flourishing in Florence, in 1652. From the analysis of colours and symbols of the coat of arms we can have more information about the family
