Ancienne et très noble famille piémontaise, originaire de Verceil mais s'installant ensuite à Turin, connue sous le nom de Gloria ou Di Gloria, de vertu claire et ancestrale, répartie au cours des siècles dans différentes régions d'Italie, avec une plus grande implantation sur le territoire de la Vénétie et, plus précisément , dans la ville de Padoue, à tel point qu'en plus des Piémontais, c'est la seule branche à avoir levé sa propre arme. Le premier personnage dont nous avons des nouvelles est un Boniface, "paysan" à Vercelli, avec le gouverneur Valperga, en 1593. La mémoire du noble Giovanni Matteo, fils de Giovanni Maria, et de son noble frère Giovanni Pietro, chanoine de la Cathédrale de Verceil.
