Antica famiglia oriunda di Dronero, che prese dimora in Saluzzo verso la metà del secolo XVI. A questa famiglia appartennero Antonio, che fu segretario marchionale nel 1433 e Michele, che fu senatore e avvocato fiscale generale di Saluzzo il 20 aprile 1641. Figlio di Michele, fu l'avvocato Francesco Bernardo, intendente di Saluzzo, che dal suo matrimonio con Teresa Saluzzo di Monesiglio ebbe Cesare, Michele Antonio, e Pietro Giuseppe Agostino, i quali consegnarono l'8 luglio 1687 la sopra blasonata arma. Fu l'ultimo di essi infeudato di Conegliano il 2 giugno 1749 e investito del titolo comitale l'8 ottobre successivo. Figlio di costui fu Giambattista, dottore in leggi, che fu investito del feudo il 17 maggio 1768. Da lui nacque in Saluzzo il 25 luglio 1778, Giuseppe, che dal suo matrimonio con Paola Ferrero Ponsigline ebbe Francesco (n. Saluzzo, 21 agosto 1795). Figlio di costui fu Leone (n.
