Il feudo di Salizzole eretto in contea con decreto del Senato Veneto 4 aprile 1573 con trasmissibilità mascolina e femminile, procede da una libera vendita fatta dalla fattoria di Verona alla famiglia Cappella, dalla quale passò nella famiglia Cosmi, quindi negli Spolvorini di Folchino ed ultima di quella famiglia sposò Cesare D., nel quale passò il titolo di conte d Salizzole. Folchino, figlio di Cesare, fu autorizzato ad aggiungere i nomi di Schizzi e di Cesi, e con D.M. 22 agosto 1899 ebbe il riconoscimento del titolo. Folchino, nato a Parma, 12 giugno 1849, di Cesare,di Gaetano e di Giulia Schizzi. Fu costume delle più antiche famiglie, le quali dopo la caduta del Romano Imperio, in quella inondatione de' Barbari, havendo i loro cognomi, sicome gli studi, e altre cose belle smarrito e restati solo con semplici nomi, trarre di nuovo i loro cognomi, e il loro casato
