Família antiga originária da República Veneziana desde 1546; reinando o Doge Francesco Donà, não apenas enobrecido, mas também bem decorado do título Comitale em prêmio pelos serviços prestados ao Estado. A partir de 1573, essa família também pertencia ao nobre Conselho de Verona, que agora cessou. Ele obteve a confirmação de sua nobre nobreza com a Resolução Soberana de 4 de junho de 1820. Leopoldo Angelo, do falecido Giuseppe, e do nobre sig. Laura Morosini, nascida em 12 de junho de 1766, casada em 10 de outubro de 1789 com o nobre sr. Elisabetta Erbisti. Morreu em 21 de abril de 1828. Era costume das famílias mais antigas, que após a queda do Império Romano, no dilúvio dos Bárbaros, terem sobrenomes, estudos e outras coisas bonitas perdidas e deixadas apenas com nomes simples, desenhar seus sobrenomes novamente e sua família a partir de nomes próprios paternos e dos principais.
