Famiglia molto antica e nobile, che à dato molti anziani alla città. Ugolino fu dei Savi nel 1298; Giuseppe ambasciatore al March. d'Este nel 1294; Albizzo gonfaloniere di giustizia nel 1321, e Testa lo fu nel 1363. Benedetto, Giovanni e Domenico furono del Consiglio dei 400 nel 1376; Cristoforo castellano di Battedizzo. La Beata Elena, moglie di Benedetto dall'Oglio, morta nel 1520, il cui corpo si venera nella chiesa di S. Giovanni in Monte. Albizzo di Rinaldo fu insigne Dottore di filosofia e di medicina, fiorito verso la metà del XVI secolo. (nel 1622 con Tolomeo di Lodovico Referendario dell'una e dell'altra signatura, la cui eredità passò alla casa Marsili).
