Il re Carlo Alberto, con patenti in data 18 maggio 1839, approvava la convenzione, stipulata in Torino il 10 dello stesso mese, tra il regio fisco e l'illustre Conte e Barone don Antonio per il riscatto dei suoi feudi. In virtù di tale convenzione restarono al predetto gentiluomo di S. M., figlio del fu conte Gerolamo, nativo della città di Sassari, i titoli di Conte di Ittiri e Barone di Uri, trasmissibili ai figli ed ai discendenti maschi in linea e per ordine di primogenitura. Gli ascendenti di questa famiglia intervennero ai Parlamenti Generali di Sardegna del 1698, nella qualità di nobili. Spettano pertanto al primogenito i titoli di cavaliere, nobile, Don, conte di Ittiri e barone di Uri; agli ultrogeniti, i titoli di cavaliere (m.), nobile (mf.), Don (mf.), nobile dei conti di Ittiri (mf.).
