Antica ed assai nobile famiglia dal tirolo detta Eccher zu Ecco o più semplicemente Eccher propagata, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni del nord. L'avita nobiltà della famiglia Eccher è confermata dalla presenza del blasone nei più autorevoli armoriali europei. L'imperatore Leopoldo II, con diploma dato a Vienna il 2 nov. 1791 confermava a Cristano Stefano Antonio Eccher Dall'Eco la nobiltà già accordata al suo diretto ascendente Carlo di Giacomo Eccher dall'imperatore Leopoldo I che lo creava coi suoi legittimi discendenti, nobile del S.R.I., col predicato di Marienberg e gli concedeva l'uso di un particolare stemma.

Inquartato: alla croce patente (o gigliata) d'azzurro sulla inquartatura; nel primo e quarto di nero a due frecce piumate di argento e poste in decusse; nel secondo e terzo d'oro al turco, nel terzo punto rivoltato, con faretra in spalla e scimitarra al fianco con arco teso e freccia in mano in atto di scagliarla in sù, con turbante rosso in testa; sul tutto d'oro alla Vergine circonfusa di gloria, tenente nella mano destra lo scettro; sul braccio sinistro il Bambino Gesù. Elmo coronato. Cimiero: il turco del 2°. Svolazzi a destra d'oro e di nero, a sinistra d'oro e di rosso.
