La genealogía documentada de esta familia se remota al siglo XVI, no estando muy clara su descendencia y relación con los señores de Fallerone de Piceno, quienes fueron muy poderosos en el medievo. Muchas familias tomaron el nombre del castillo de los territorios que dominaban y entre ellas podemos recordar a los señores Brunforte, de Mongliano, de Monteverde, de Petriolo, de Sarmano, de Massa, De Loro, etc. Los señores de Fallerone se llamaban Euffreducci o Uffreducci, el cual más tarde derivó en Fano y se extinguió hacia el siglo XIX. De esta familia es Olivierotto Euffreducci, quien fue asesinado a traición por César Bongia en Senigaglia en 1503.
