Famiglia aragonese catalana un cui ramo si trasferì in Sardegna nella seconda metà del secolo XIV. Nel 1369 un Pietro acquistò da Lodovico Lombart i feudi di Dorgali e Loculi, obbligandosi a pagare una pensione annua alla vedova di Geraldo Torrent antica proprietaria, ma alcuni anni dopo li rivendette. Suo nipote Francesco, nel 1437, fu vicerè di Sardegna, sposò una De Sena, che gli portò in dote la baronia di Ussana con i feudi di Barali e Corongiu. Francesco inoltre, al 1450, acquistò dai Montbuy le signorie di Gesico, Goni, Samassi e Serrenti. Nel 1464 Antonio, suo nipote, vendette ai De Besora i feudi di Barrali e di Corongiu ed acquistò dai De Sena il diritto di riscossione della gabella sul sale delle saline di Cagliari. Suo figlio Pietro, nel 1495, vendette al fisco il diritto di riscossione della gabella del sale; nel 1500 egli acquistò dai Castelvì i feudi
