Nel 1186 Ettore era Cav. aurato; Reimbaldo nel 1201 fu podestà di Testona; Melano fu tra i fondatori di Moncalieri, sorto dopo la distruzione di Testona; Ducatino giureconsulto, fu giudice generale dello stato di Piemonte; Perotto ebbe signoria su Cello; Cristoforo, nato nel 1503, cominciò ad essere capitano d'uomini d'armi sotto il Duca Filiberto di Savoia, poi con Odetto di Fois sire di Quantree si trovò all'assedio di Milano. Carlo III di Savoja indi nominollo suo gentiluomo di camera e poi comandante della provincia di Asti. Si trovò all'incoronazione di Carlo V a Bologna ove fu creato conte palatino. Nel 1558 fu creato cavaliere da Emanuele - Filiberto. Teodoro fu maggiordomo di Cristina di Francia. Luigi-Maria conte della Cassa e Cocconato fu Gentiluomo di camera di Carlo-Emanuele III. La presenza del motto nella bibliografia documentata della famiglia ci conferma l'avita nobiltà
