Kaiser Franz Joseph I. verwandelte mit einem am 18. Dezember 1880 in Wien verliehenen Diplom die Baronie des Reiches in eine österreichische Baronie für George Eyrl von Waldgries und Liebeneich, n. Chr. in Bozen im Jahr 1849 und an seine legitimen Nachkommen und bestätigte die Verwendung des oben genannten Wappens. Sie erhielten die Anerkennung des Baronentitels der KI (mf.) Mit der DP 2. August 1926: Giorgio, geboren am 17. April 1849 in Bozen, von Edoardo und Anna de Hafner, verheiratet in Wien am 23. Juni 1888 mit Amalia Gatterburg, aus wo: a) Diego, n. Bozen, 23. Dezember 1889; b) Egon, nein. Bozen, 6. Dezember 1892, verheiratet am 26. November 1924 in Überlingen mit Maria Antonietta Hohenzollern.

Inquartato: nel primo e quarto d'azzurro al fronte di toro con orecchie e corna, sulle quali sono infisse sei penne di struzzo, tre per parte, il tutto d'oro; nel secondo e terzo di nero alla scala di campagna formata da un palo e da cinque piuoli che l'attraversano e piantata su un monte di tre cime, il tutto di oro. Sul tutto uno scudetto di rosso carico di tre uova d'argento, male ordinate. Cimiero: A destra: le corna dello scudo, d'oro, sulle quali sono infisse otto penne di struzzo di nero, carico della scala dello scudo. Sostegni: A destra, un leone troncato d'azzurro e di nero, alla fascia d'argento, lampassato di rosso con la testa rivolta all'infuori.
