Noble Cesena family and flourishing since the eleventh century in which lived a Giorgio Faberi who was father of S. Aldobrando proposed of the cathedral of Rimini and then bishop of the city of Fossombrone. The B. Bartolomeo Faberi, son of Giovan-Battista, belonged to the Hermits of S. Onofrio. Giorgio, a very learned man, composed various Latin eloglogues published in Bologna in 1572; and was created by the Popes Sixtus V and Clement VIII judge against the disturbers of public peace in Rome.
