Filial da família homônima de Begliano (Monfalcone) que, como mencionado pelo marquês Carlo Antonio de Fabris, a quase casada Caterina Isnardis de Portogruaro, de Begliano de Monfalcone transferiu sua casa para aquela cidade. Esse ramo também contratou alianças com alguma família nobre, como as contagens fenícias de Pordenone, as contas de Rivalta di Portogruaro, as contas de Bevilacqua de Piran, as contas de Menegozzi de Aviano, as contas de Mistruzzi di Venzone e Ronchi, as nobres Balbi etc. Obteve a confirmação do título de marquês do governo austríaco com a Resolução Soberana dos Habsburgos de 3 de novembro de 1820 e o reconhecimento do mesmo pelo governo italiano com o decreto ministerial de 19 de dezembro de 1897. Aquilio, n. Portugruaro, 9 de outubro de 1866, de Alessandro Carlo, Alessandro, Francesco, Carlo Antonio, Antonio e a nobre Giovanna dos Condes Menegozzi, casou-se com Trieste em 21 de maio de 1892

Troncato: nel primo partito: a) di azzurro all'aquila di argento coronata di oro; b) d'azzurro, al monte di verde sostenente una colomba d'argento, tenente nel becco un ramoscello di olivo al naturale; nel secondo d'argento ad un arabesco formato di un tronco a forma di cuore e quattro fogliami due in alto e due in basso. Cimiero: 1) La colomba dello scudo rivoltata; 2) il leone d'oro seduto in maestà e coronato dello stesso, tenente con la zampa destra una bandiera d'azzurro con la bordatura d'oro, carica dell'aquila d'argento e con la zampa sinistra un'eguale bandiera carica della colomba del campo; 3) l'aquila del campo. Sostegni: Due leoni d'oro tenenti ciascuno con la zampa una bandiera come nel cimiero, affrontati, con la testa all'infuori.
