João I, teve descendência, e uma sua filha, por nome Isabel, casou com Gonçalo Anes de Abre, senhor de Castelo de Vide, Monforte, Póvoa a Meadas, a quem D. João I contou a Quinta de S. Marcos, o qual era filho de Gonçalo Anes de Abreu, alcaide de Alter do Chão, senhor de Castelo de Vide, de Póvoa a Meadas, do Reguengo de Coimbra, da terra de S. Marcos e da Armenta de Sacavém, e de sua mulher D. Antónia F.. A estes confirmou D. Fernando, no ano de 1367, as herdades de Alvarendes, no termo de Évora, que já havia coutado D. Pedro I a Lourenço Anes F. e a sua mulher Mor Gonçalves, pais de D. Antónia, mulher do referido Gonçalo Anes de Abreu, e a Nuno Fernandes, sobrinhos do Bispo de Évora. Timbre: um falcão de sua cor, com um bordão do escudo no bico e no pé direito.
