Famiglia sassarese le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XIII. I suoi membri nell'ultimo periodo del giudicato di Torres e del libero comune ricoprirono ripetutamente uffici di qualche importanza. Nel 1440 ottennero il riconoscimento della generosità con uno Stefano che nel 1444 fu console dei genovesi a Sassari. Nel 1528, durante il tentativo di invasione, parteggiarono per i francesi. Nel 1567 un altro Stefano ottenne il cavalierato ereditario. I suoi figli furono ammessi allo stamento militare nel 1583 durante il Parlamento Moncada. Tra essi bisogna ricordare Giovanni Francesco, arciprete turritano nominato vescovo di Bosa nel 1590, considerato come il primo e più illustre storico sardo per la sua opera in latino De rebus sardois. Della famiglia non si ebbero più notizie dal secolo XVII. Altro ramo. Famiglia di Bosa le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XVIII. Nel 1738 ottenne il cavalierato ereditario e la nobiltà con il dottor Angelo medico. I
