Familia albanesa de origen catalán cuya información se remonta al siglo XV. En 1420, Antonio obtuvo el reconocimiento de generosidad. Su hijo Gisperto participó en el asedio del castillo de Monteleone y en recompensa por su valor en 1436 obtuvo en feudo el señorío de Vesos y el del salto de Ruda y en 1436 el del salto de Campo di Bous. En 1440, el propio Gispereto tenía el título de caballero hereditario. Sus hijos en 1446 vendieron el salto de Ruda al Boyl y en 1457 el del Campo di Bous a las Zatrillas. En el siglo XVI, el Capitán Gerolamo contribuyó a la fundación del colegio jesuita en Alghero. Su nieto, otro Gerolamo, capitán de la infantería Sassari, en 1620 obtuvo el reconocimiento de la nobleza. En 1660 tenían el señorío de Vesos criado en marquesado con el título de Valverde.
