Illustre famiglia di Albaredo d'Agide, ove si trova censita fin dal XV secolo, oriunda del ferrarese, di chiara e riconosciuta nobiltà, la quale stabilì dimora in Verona, ove sorge l'omonimo palazzo, raro e cospicuo esempio dell'architettura barocca in Verona, attribuito agli architetti Lelio e Vincenzo Pellesina (sec. XVII), in Avesa ed in Arlizzano di Valpolicella. Il comm. Carlo, sindaco di Avesa, cav. uff. Mauriziano, della Corona d'Italia e di Merito dell'Ordine Costantiniano di S. Gregorio, Comm. dell'Ordine Supremo di Danilo I° e di Onore e Merito della Repubblica di Cuba, insignito di Medaglia d'oro dal comune di Avesa, delle Palme Accademiche dal Presidente della Repubblica Francese e della Medaglia d'argento della Croce Rossa Giapponese, porta il titolo di nobile riconosciuto con Real Carta del Re d'armi di S. R. C. il Re di Spagna (2 gennaio 1914) nella sua qualità di Membro e Rappresentante del Real Capitolo Spagnuolo di Valencia
