In terra di Toscana rammentiamo due nobili famiglie Fiaschi, entrambe residenti nella città di Firenze. L'una trae origine da un Tommaso, del fu Francesco, fiorente già nel 1280. L'altra trae invece origine dal casato dei Del Sera, attestato in Firenze a partire dallo squittinio del 1524, con Francesco, di Luca, di Miniato. Nel periodo del principato Cosimo, di Neri, di Luca, depositario generale del granducato Ferdinando II, fu chiamato a far parte del Senato dei Quarantotto nel 1631, come lo fu suo figlio Paolo, nel 1672. I Del Sera furono ammessi al patriziato fiorentino con decreto del 19 aprile 1751. Il dott. Emilio, di Vittorio Dante, aggiunse il cognome Fiaschi, per adozione dello zio Carlo Fiaschi, omologata dalla Corte d'Appello di Bologna il 3 aprile 1922. Con Regio Decreto di motu proprio, 30 agosto 1925, gli fu concesso il titolo di marchese. Una altra nobilissima famiglia Fiaschi si originò in
