Erano Vicentini, venuti alla dipendenza del Veneto Governo con la dedizione di quella Città, ove ebbero personaggi distinti in rilevanti servigi. I fratelli Orazio e Girolamo accompagnarono al Senato il 30 Gennaio 1648 l'offerta di 100 mille ducati, e con essa la supplica per essere aggregati alla veneta nobiltà, la quale ballottata in Senato, ottenne voti favorevoli 127, contrari 1, non sinceri 1, e proposta nel Maggior Consiglio il 7 febbraio 1648, riportò voti favorevoli 692, contrari 53, non sinceri 4. Questa famiglia si estinse nel 1681 con Cesare Dottore e jureconsulto celebratissimo nello Studio di Padova, dove spiegò le Pandette, il quale rinunciò alla cattedra, quando fu creato patrizio. Altro ramo. La casa Fieramosca di Capua era antica e nobile, ed i suoi membri si distinsero pel valor militare. Il più famoso fu Ettore capitano dei cavalieri alla disfida di Barletta, creato, dopo quella storica battaglia, conte di Miglionico
