Nel 1369 la famiglia cedette alla Repubblica di Firenze la torre o fortilizio di Figline nella curia di Montaione. Per tale cessione gl'individui di detta famiglia furono dichiarati cittadini fiorentini ed abilitati a tutti i benefizi, distinzioni e privilegi ai quali la cittadinanza dava diritto. Tale privilegio fu rinnovato a Ercole di Jacopo, per sentenza del Magistrato Supremo del 31 luglio 1582, sanzionata con rescritto sovrano del 15 marzo 1584. Da questo Ercole discendono Vincenzo, Ernesto e Alessandro, ai quali il 5 febbraio 1830 fu riconosciuto il Patriziato fiorentino. Nell'anno successivo, con diploma del 21 maggio, venne concesso ai medesimi di riassumere il titolo comitale. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Nobiliare Ufficiale Italiano in persona di: a) Antonio, di Giuseppe, di Pietro. Figlio: Virgilio. b) Silvio, di Giuseppe, di Pietro. Figlio: Giuseppe. c) Adolfo, di Ercole, di Vincenzo. Fratelli: Marianna, Virginia. Figlio: Raffaello.
