Ancient and illustrious Piacenza family, of which certain memories date back to 840, in which year in a contract between various citizens of Piacenza celebrated on the square of the sons of Oddone there were Oddone and Corrado Filiodoni. Later, namely in 1145, an Obizzo F. was one of the consuls of Piacenza, and in 1189 Obizzone Novello of the same family also had the same position. In 1200 the brothers Rainerio and Oddone F. were run over by half of the castle and the territory of Scipione by the Marquis Pallavicini. In 1300 we find Guelfo F. podestà of Milan.
