Antica famiglia, oriunda da Cavallermaggiore. Giovanni Battista acquistò l'11 maggio 1691 da Francesco Lodovico Colonna parte del feudo di Baldissero. Da lui discese Francesco Lodovico che fu investito di 16/48 di Baldissero il 20 dicembre 1719. A lui successe il primogenito Giovanni Antonio Flaminio, il quale fu investito di Baldissero, il 10 marzo 1739. Fu suo figlio unigenito Vittorio Lodovico, che fu investito il 13 aprile 1771. Da lui nacque Giuseppe Amedeo, padre di Vittorio Benedetto, da cui origina la discendenza presente, e di Carlo Alberto, stipite di una linea secondogenita. Motto della famiglia: Perservernti datur. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia originaria di Iesi, dove si imparentò con le principali nobili famiglie iesine. Riconosce come suo capostipite un Ettore vivente nel 1500. Filippo (1600) fu canonico della Cattedrale Iesina; Giuseppe (1665) dottore in utroque. Giacomo (1760) capitano, sposò la nob. Anna Benaducci di Tolentino. Egli nel 1762 fu aggregato
