Antica ed assai nobile famiglia veneta, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia. Tradizione vuole che essa abbia tratto origine dall'omonima e nobile fiorentina, un cui ramo si portò in Verona ed un altro in Brescia. La chiara nobiltà dei Fiorini di Verona viene anche confermata dalla loro presenza in alcune delle più pregevoli opere di araldica europea, tra cui: il celebre "Dizionario storico-blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane estinte e fiorenti" dello storico, genealogista e araldista italiano Giovan Battista Crollalanza (1818-1892) ed il monumentale "Armorial Général" dell'araldista e genealogista olandese Jean-Baptiste Rietstap (1828-1891). I primi riferimenti alla nobile famiglia Fiorini si hanno già nel XIV secolo. Una lapide del 1354 ricorda infatti il nome del medico Fiorino Fiorini ed un pubblico atto del 1381 riporta il nome del notaio Bertino Fiorini, figlio del magnifico Fiorino, medico.
