F. fatto Edile dal Senato Romano, che divulgò i fasti, fu figlio di Annio, che molto oprò con il suo valore a favore del popolo Romano; e così si resterà con l'opinione di Svetonio, e di Cornelio Tacito, i quli con ragione chiamarorno al casa F. Aretina in persona di quel Clemente e F. Aretini, che fu Console di Roma. E benche numerano alcuni Autori questa casa tra le plebeie; questo non è da maravigliarsi, perche essendo essa forestiera, ed amato fuori di modo dalla plebe quell'Annio Aretino si posero dalla fazione della plebe, per il cui mezo altre famiglie, oltre della F. furono assune a' gradi supremi della Republica;
