Sie stammen aus Mailand. Giulio, ein Mailänder Patrizier, der 1772 starb, wurde am 24. Juni 1739 vom Kaiser Karl VI. Zum Grafen ernannt. Er heiratete Fulvia vom Marquis Alberto De Regibus. Aus dieser Ehe ging unter anderem Giuseppe hervor, der die Fakultät mit einem kaiserlichen Diplom vom 31. Oktober 1787 erhielt, um den Marquis-Titel zu verwenden und den mütterlichen Nachnamen zu seinem eigenen hinzuzufügen. Von ihm wurde 1786 Giorgio geboren, der Luigia Cacciapiatti geheiratet hatte. Sein Sohn Giovanni Evangelista (gestorben 1882) bat 1846, die Cacciapiatti-Waffe mitzubringen. Dem Antrag folgte jedoch keine Bestimmung. Quartogenita ist Maria, geboren am 1. Februar 1854 in Turin, die 1886 den edlen Ingenieur Ercole Tenca heiratete.

Inquartato: al primo e quarto di De Regibus, che è d'azzurro a tre coppe coronate e male ordinate, sormontate da una cometa accodata e da due stelle (6), il tutto d'oro; al secondo e terzo di Fossati, che è contrinquartato di argento e di rosso a tre stelle (8) dell'uno nell'altro, e la terza dall'uno all'altro. Cimiero: il vecchio, barbuto, vestito ed incappucciato di nero, nascente, tenente colla destra una stella (8) di rosso e la sinistra appoggiata al fianco.
