Une famille très ancienne et noble, également connue sous le nom de Franceschini ou dé Franceschini, est née de cette famille : Antonio, évêque d'Amelia ; Felice, général des Mineurs conventuels et évêque d'Andria; Francesco, évêque de Civitacastellana et Orte. La famille est inscrite sur la liste officielle italienne avec les titres de noble de Cascia (mf.) Descendants de Francesco Maria et Scipione (1828), en la personne de Francesco, Stefano, Francesco Maria et leurs filles Bianca, Stefana, Luigia, Carolina , Olga, Béatrice, Marguerite. Autre branche. Ancienne famille établie au XIVe siècle à Gemona, d'où elle s'est déplacée à Udine, au conseil noble duquel elle est agrégée depuis 1570. Par décret du sénat vénitien du 14 mai 1774, elle a été décorée du titre de comte. Par résolutions souveraines du 14 juillet 1820 et du 23 avril 1829, il obtient la confirmation de sa noblesse ancestrale et le titre de comte.
