Distinguida familia piamontesa, con residencia en la ciudad de Alessandria, luego se mudó a Roma, de clara y probada virtud, que se extendió en el desarrollo de los lustres, en diferentes regiones de Italia. La nobleza fue otorgada en la persona de Giuseppe (nacido en Alessandria, 8 de marzo de 1858; dec. Allí el 13 de octubre de 1925), concejal municipal y provincial en la capital piamontesa, donde era miembro del consorcio agrícola; En la capital fue vicepresidente de la Cruz Roja Italiana y del Conservatorio de Santa Cecilia, promovió la fundación de la sociedad gestora de los baños termales de Fiuggi y formó parte de la junta directiva de Il Giornale d'Italia. Diputado de Alejandría por cinco legislaturas, fue nombrado senador vitalicio en 1910. También recibió los siguientes honores: Gran oficial de la Orden de la Corona de Italia, Gran cordón de la Orden de la Corona de Italia
