Un documento della collezione Bianchi ci narra che il 24 maggio 1214, Morando e fratelli, signori della famiglia Frattesi, avevano fatto erigere delle forche sui confini del territorio dell'Abbazia di Sesto e vi avevano fatto appendere parete delle membra di Ballamento di Portobuffulè, famoso ladrone di strada, e che avendo quell'Abate protestato alla curia del Patriarca di Aquileia, questi, letti i diplomi concessi prima dal Patriarca Poppo e poi nel 1172 al Patriarca Voldorico II al potente milite Marzutto, aveva sentenziato che quei signori continuassero ad esercitare il jus sanguinis ed a ministrare iustitiam come per il passato. Ora questo documento che ha fornito lo spunto ai soliti genealogisti di buona volontà per far risalire l'albero della famiglia ai tempi del detto Patriarca Poppo, che occupò la cattedra di Aquileia dal 1019 al 1042, è stato dimostrato falso da monsignor Paschini, con abbondanza di argomentazioni, fra le quali di indubbio
