Provengono da Menusiglio. L'avvocato Carlo Giuseppe sposò Elena Gioconda Appiani, di Lodovico, erede di porzioni di Torre Bormida, Bergolo, e Castino. Per sentenza del 22 aprile1748 fu ordinata l'investitura dei succitati feudi a favore di Paolo Girolamo, come primogenito di Carlo Giuseppe e di Elena Gioconda Appiani, il quale fu investito il 15 gennaio 1751 e il 15 gennaio 1756 con titolo signorile. Da lui nacque Giulio (dec. 10 novembre 1830), che fu prefetto di Voghera nel 1814, di Biella nel 1821,d i Vercelli nel 1823, quindi senatore prefetto di Cuneo nel 1826. Furono suoi figli Luigi (n. Castino; dec. Torino I settembre 1874), Giuseppe (n. Ivrea 12 giugno 1812), e Carlo. Da Luigi nacque Giuseppe Annibale, che morì a Torino il 4 gennaio 1877, e da Carlo nacque Luigi (n. Fossano 11 novembre 1841), che fu maggiore di Cavalleria.
