Alte und sehr adelige Familie der Côte d'Azur, ursprünglich aus Sospello, bekannt als Fulcheri, Fulchieri oder Folcheri, von klarer und angestammter Tugend, die sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte in verschiedenen Regionen Frankreichs und Italiens verbreitete, mit großen Siedlungen im Piemont und in der Toskana . Der klare Adel der Familie wird durch ihre Präsenz in einigen der wichtigsten heraldischen Werke bestätigt, wie „Il Patriziato Subalpino“ von Baron Antonio Manno (1834-1918), einem piemontesischen Gelehrten, Kritiker und Philologen, der sich einem vollmundigen Werk widmet die Geschichte der großen Familien des Staates Savoyen, mit historischen Informationen und Beschreibungen des Wappens. Der piemontesische Zweig dieser Familie war der Geburtsort von Kapitän Giovanni Fulcheri, der am 4. Februar 1671 mit Castelnovo di Nizza belehnt wurde. Auch im Piemont zeichneten sie sich aus: Tommaso Fulcheri, Doktor beider Rechtswissenschaften, der 1702 in Mondovì aufblühte; Giacomo Maria Fulcheri, Generalvikar in Saluzzo in der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts;
