Jacomo che nel 1335, fu il primo capitano di Guardia contro Banditi, e Conservatore eletto delli Fiorentini di questa famiglia fu Girolamo Gabrieli, che del 1525 in Roma ebbe per moglie Lucrezia Mazzatosta. Fu grandissimo Dottore, come dimostrano i suoi libri stampati ed avvocato concistoriale e col suo valore fece molta ricchezza. Egli del 1557 maritò Faustina su figlia, in Alessandro Micinnelli nobile Romano dal quale conviene che io racconti una graziosa storiella riferita qaundo ero giovine da Mons. Penna, Decano della S.
