Bernardo G., caballero aragonés, fue enviado en 1329, por el rey don Alonso IV de Aragón, a la isla de Cerdeña, cuya ciudad de Sácer se estaba poblando a la sazón de aragoneses y catalanes. De una casa de G., que radicó en la ciudad de Valencia, fue Miguel Juan G., natural y alguacil mayor de la Inquisición de Valencia, que casó con doña Angela Pallarés, de igual naturaleza, y fueron padres de Miguel Juan G. y Pallarés, natural de Valencia, del Consejo de su Majestad y abogado patrimonial en la Real Audiencia de dicha capital, que en su mujer, doña Ana Lapena, natural de Bruselas, tuvo a Gaspar Juan G. Lapena, natural de Valencia, que vistió el hábito de Montesa el 20 de mayo de 1631.
