Jacques-Paul Gassaud de Manosque, chevalier, seigneur de Beaulieu, André, son frère, et Laurent-Marie, son fils, figurèrent à l'assemblée de la noblesse de la sénéchaussée de Forcalquier du 1er avril 1789. Elle a contracté alliances avec les familles de Laugier, de Gaudemar, de Tassil, de Masseau, de Joannis, etc. Parmi les représentants actuels de cette famille on trouve: N... de Gassaud; Amélie, marquise de Saporta. Claire, mariée le 23 septembre 1861 à Alfred Cabanis de Courtois, secrétaire d'ambassade.
