Alte Familie aus Astigiana, damals in Turin. Die frühesten Erinnerungen erinnern an einen Filiberto, der Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts lebte und aus dem Petrino geboren wurde, der 1646 Bürgermeister von Turin war und am 17. April 1614 die Waffe übergab. Am 20. Juni kaufte er einen Teil von Monteu da Po von Baron Francesco Agostino Barozzi 1668; und wurde am 16. Mai 1670 investiert. Der älteste Sohn Filiberto, der die Waffe am 14. August 1687 auslieferte, war der Vater von Pietro Paolo (geb. Turin, 26. Januar 1678), der Vittoria Ruschis in einer zweiten Ehe geheiratet hatte. sein Sohn Pietro Antonio (* 23. Januar 1714 in Turin, dort 19. Dezember 1765) hieß Gay-Ruschis. Mit ihm starb diese Linie aus und hatte keine Nachkommen.
