Con su diploma el 6 de abril de 1615, Felipe III, rey de España, otorgó el título de noble a Giovanni Francesco, capitán de las costas de Goceano en Cerdeña, y a sus hijos y descendientes masculinos. Por lo tanto, los títulos de caballero (masculino), noble (masculino y femenino) y Don (masculino y femenino) pertenecen a los descendientes masculinos de esta familia; a las mujeres los títulos personales de noble y de mujer.
