Antica e nobile famiglia le cui origini sono sconosciute la cui nobiltà è confermata dalla presenza del blasone nei principali armoriali Italiani. Lo stemma della famiglia Gironi o Geroni è: D'azzurro, a tre scudetti d'argento pieno, 2 e 1. Da remoto tempo non sono pervenute più notizie di suddetta famiglia.
