Famiglia pesarese, le cui memorie risalgono al sec. XVIII, e a cui nel 1830 fu concessa la Nobiltà di Pesaro, nella persona di Paolo, di Antonio. Nella famiglia si estinse la nobile ed antica famiglia Ardizi di Pesaro, le cui notizie risalgono al 1465 in cui viveva un Gaspare Ardizi celebre medico, il quale, essendo riuscito a ridonare la salute ad Alessandro Sforza signore di Pesaro, da questi fu colmato di onori e ricchezze e del titolo di Archiatra. Da allora egli ed i suoi discendenti, furono ascritti al patriziato di Pesaro. Egli fu anche protettore e benefattore del grande ed infelice Torquato Tasso. La Consulta Araldica (v. Elenco Nobiliare Ufficiale) dichiarò spettare alla famiglia il titolo di Nobile di Pesaro (mf.).
