Con ducale 7 settembre la Repubblica di Venezia concedeva a Lorenzo e Giovanni, per il prezzo di ducati 500, una delle 10 carature in cui andava divisa la giurisdizione della Meduna, in Friuli, col titolo di conte. Nella ducale stessa si ha cenno delle benemerenze acquistatesi verso la repubblica da Giovanni Battista, fratello degli investiti, nella guerra di Morea. La famiglia, per esercitare i suoi diritti feudali, avevano fatto acquisto di un grosso fabbricato alla Quartarezza, villa nella giurisdizione della Meduna ed erano perciò detti della Quartezza. Per terminazione dei Provveditori sopra feudi 4 aprile 1745, i suddetti due fratelli venivano iscritti nell'A.L.T. col titolo di conti della Meduna. L'ultima reinvestitura, al nome del Conte Alessandro, porta la data 27 settembre.
