Originaria dalla Savoia, portata in Palermo nella seconda metà del secolo XVII da un Giovan Battista. Un Benedetto fu maestro razionale togato in soprannumero del tribunale del Regio Patrimonio 1709; un Pietro, con privilegio del 3 maggio 1712, ottenne il titolo di barone di Portaferrata e fu senatore di Palermo negli anni 1713-14, 1725-26; un Giovan Battista e Texeira, figlio di Pietro, ottenne investitura del titolo di barone di Portaferrata a 23 febbraio 1736, acquistò il titolo di marchese di Camporeale, del quale venne investito a 15 aprile 1741; un Michele fu senatore di Palermo nel 1768-69; un Domenico, per la morte senza figli del fratello Giovan Battista, ottenne a 21 novembre 1781 investitura del titolo di barone di Portaferrata. Arma: Troncato:nel primo d'oro, alla rosa di rosso, fustata e fogliata di verde; nel secondo d'argento, al cuore di rosso, e la fascia d'azzurro attraversante sulla partizione.
