Originally from Savoy, brought to Palermo in the second half of the 17th century by a Giovan Battista. A Benedict was a rationale master in the supernumerary court of the Royal Heritage 1709; a Peter, with the privilege of May 3, 1712, obtained the title of Baron of Portaferrata and was senator of Palermo in the years 1713-14, 1725-26; a Giovan Battista and Texeira, son of Pietro, obtained investiture of the title of baron of Portaferrata on 23 February 1736, bought the title of marquis of Camporeale, of which he was invested on 15 April 1741; a Michele was senator of Palermo in 1768-69; a Domenico, for the childless death of his brother Giovan Battista, obtained the title of baron of Portaferrata on November 21, 1781. Weapon: Truncated: in the first gold, with the rose of red, flogged and green leaf; in the second, silver, with a red heart, and the blue band crossing on the partition.
