Ancient and illustrious family, of clear and ancestral virtue, called Gisotti or Cisotti, which, towards the end of the 16th century, entered the Noble Council of Vicenza; but the nobility in that era was more than a hundred years old, since to be admitted to the College of Jurists one had to demonstrate the possession of true and real nobility of one hundred years. This family had the confirmation of the nobility with SRA 14 July 1820 and the following obtained the recognition with DM 28 June 1921 of the title of noble mf.: Francesco, n.
