Es ist eine der berühmtesten Familien von Verona in der Antike namens Oliari. Noch bevor die Stadt Verona 1405 der venezianischen Herrschaft unterworfen wurde und daher vor der Errichtung dieses Adelsrates, an dem sie bis zu ihrer Beendigung beteiligt war, wurde Giacomo und Francesco der Titel des Pfalzgrafen verliehen Giuliari und alle ihre männlichen Nachkommen des Kaisers Karl IV. Mit einem Diplom vom 3. August 1369. Der gleiche Titel wurde ihm von der venezianischen Republik auch per männlichem Dekret mit Dekret vom 14. Januar 1704 verliehen. Er zählt viele berühmte Themen, und unter anderem ein berühmter Bartholomäus-Kardinal. Mit souveränen Resolutionen vom 9. November 1819 und 9. August 1829 wurden ihr Adel und der Titel des Grafen bestätigt.
