En un pergamino de 1619 conservado en el archivo de las cuentas G. y que es un certificado emitido a favor de la sucursal de Piuro, se ilumina el escudo de armas de la familia con figuras y lemas algo diferentes, es decir, se puede ver una torre dorada en la orilla hacia el agua en la que navega un bote sin árboles, que lleva una espada apuñalada por la punta de la proa, sin el borde y con la cabeza dorada con el águila negra. Familia Oriunda de la tierra de Zulino en el municipio de Mezzegra en el lago de Como entre Lenno y Tremezzo. La mención más antigua se encuentra en un pergamino del 26 de noviembre de 1251 de la Colegiata de S. Eufemia en la isla, en el Archivo Estatal de Milán, en el que bordea un terreno en Mezzegra hay un Debertus de Zulino.
